Boko Harams location bombarded in Borno


     In the north eastern of Borno State Tumbin Gini and Kayewa Nigerian Air Force (NAF), fighter jets have attacked Boko Haram hideouts on the outskirts . This has enabled smooth advance operation by the ground effort forces as part of the ongoing Operation Gama Aiki , the Air Force stated . A successive intelligence surveillance reconnaissance receive a report from several missions flown by NAF platforms, which has enabled smooth advancement by the ground effort forces as part of the ongoing Operation Gama Aiki, the Air Force stated . It was detailed that the air strikes were as a result of ground based intelligence.
     The statement was issued on Sunday from Air Forces spokesman , Group Captain Ayodele
Famuyiwa said separate air strikes targeting a small piece of Boko Haram was conducted on
Friday 16 September 2016. He added that a post- strike battle damage assessment of the strikes revealed that the rendezvous was seriously damaged with many casualties while those far from the vicinity could be seen scrambling to safety .
     Famuyiwa explanied that the aircrafts involved in the air strikes are the NAF F- 7 Ni and the Alpha jets, stating that the air offensive of the NAF has continued to deny the militants any hiding
place and room for maneuver. He explained that some of the Boko Haram members could be seen at one of the rendezvous where they were believed to be holding a high - level meeting when NAF jets were scrambled to hit the locations.
